The Latventure Ecuador team recently participated in a cultural and gastronomic event at the Mama Cuchara Hotel in Quito.
The Latventure team recently joined a vibrant cultural and gastronomic event at Hotel Mama Cuchara, located in the heart of Quito. This hotel, offering panoramic views of the entire city, served as a stunning backdrop for the day's activities. The event featured three main segments: an art workshop, a visit to the Convent of Santo Domingo, and a cooking class.
Art Workshop: Participants explored their creativity in a guided art workshop, where they expressed their emotions through painting and learned techniques for emotional management.
Visit to the Convent of Santo Domingo: The group then toured the historic Convent of Santo Domingo, visiting the museum, the Rosario Chapel, and the domes, which provided breathtaking views of Quito.
Cooking Class: The day concluded with a cooking class focused on traditional Ecuadorian dishes. Attendees made Locro, a potato soup, a fish dish, and Empanadas de Mejido (cheese and panela pastries).
The event at Hotel Mama Cuchara successfully blended art, history, and cuisine, showcasing the cultural richness of Quito and providing the Latventure team with a memorable and enriching experience. We highly recommend this experience to our passengers as a must-do activity in Quito.
