You will explore the impressive Sumidero Canyon with its sheer cliffs up to 1000 metres high by boat and hike to the idyllic Montebello Lakes. In San Cristóbal de las Casas, you will immerse yourself in the lives of the Maya-Tzotzil peoples and visit their traditional villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán. In the tropical lowlands, you will discover the famous Maya site of Palenque with the fascinating tomb of ruler Pakal.
