Lima's new airport, Jorge Chávez International Airportwas recently expanded to meet the growing demands of international air travel. With a capacity of over 30 million passengers per year, the airport is designed to not only improve connections to major destinations but also increase convenience and efficiency for travelers. The expansion includes new terminals, expanded security and check-in areas, and numerous shopping and dining options. With this expansion, Lima is cementing its position as a major hub in South America.
Lima is served by regular flights from Europe operated by Iberia, KLM, Air France, Latam, Air Europa and Plus Ultra.
